It runs X-Plane, which allows engineers to fully simulate any aircraft, with a lot of programming and configuration. I’m sure they will accept you as a volunteer if you want to contribute some C language programming skills.
The test pilot for the Avro must have 5000 hours of jet fighter experience, plus ultra-light experience, as the jet will land and take off at about 55 mph.
You can get the home PC version for $29, but expect to spend a little more for 5 computers and three large screen plasma TVs shown here. They say it gets a little warm in front of those screens!
