My New 30-Day Plan Starts with the Miracle Morning Routine

Yesterday, I read, or should I say devoured, a small book called “The Miracle Morning: The Not-So-Obvious Secret Guaranteed to Transform Your Life (Before 8 am).”

This book is what I needed to kick my success plan into action. It was recommended to me by Chris Record. I’ve followed Chris on and off for the last two years; and lately I have been watching most of his Persicope Videos recently, learning to how to use that smart phone app as a marketing resource. Chris has several business that gross over million a year, so when he suggests a book, I order it and read it!

Today, Sunday 9/20/2015, I started the day at least an hour earlier, and each weekday this week, I will get out of bed at 5:15 instead of 6:15. Today, I focused on writing my initial affirmations so that I won’t waste anytime tomorrow.? I will use that hour to implement Hal’s S.A.V.E.R.S. system, but of course I will customize it to fit me.

“SAVERS” is an acronym for the following morning activities:

1. Silence
2. Affirmations
3. Visualization
4. Exercise
5. Reading
6. Scribing (Journalling and/or Blogging)

I started writing out my affirmations today, and I will soon write a blog about how I went about that process.

The silence includes prayer and/or meditation. Over the last year, I?ve been very faithful to do the morning Jewish prayer service at home. It takes about 15 minutes. It?s done by following a Siddur, a prayer book. The word Siddur means ?order?. It actually overlaps somewhat with affirmations, but much of is geared toward the community of the Jewish people; collective goals rather than individual ones.

For exercise, I have been doing Yoga about three times/week; Sunday morning, Tuesday evening, and Thursday evening. Just a couple of weeks ago, I got my wristband for attending 100 classes (that was over the time period of a year). Now, I need to amp it up with some aerobics or weight lifting to knock off 20 pounds. Plus, as Hal teaches in the book, doing some exercise in the morning sets the tone and mood for the day, and gives you that extra boost of energy.

The Yoga classes are an hour, and there’s prep time to get “suited up” and get my water and drinks prepped for during/after class, and there?s time afterward to recover. So right now, I don?t have two hours in the morning to do Yoga. I will keep my evenings schedule, and add some BeachBody routines on the TV. As a fairly new BeachBody coach, I’m subscribed to their on-demand videos, and can play them on my new Amazon Fire Stick (on the television screen). I may rotate that with going down to the apartment gym and doing some weights.

I think reading includes audios and videos. I?m able to listen to success and training audios at my 8-5 job until I retire from that. I need to add 10-15 minutes of reading to my morning schedule. I’ll probably start with “Think and Grow Rich.”? ?It’s the one book that all successful people keep coming back to. I read it years ago, and last year I re-started it, but for some reason set it aside (probably to read other books, because I never stop reading). Paul Hutchings owes a life change to this book. Like me, he had read it a couple of times, but one day a small voice in his head told him to study it, and his life has not been the same since.

This fits in perfectly with my existing business plans. My current goal is to build an income from five businesses:

Empower Network -? blogging (this business has since gone under, but I learned a lot about marketing and business from them)
Search Engine Marketing (SEO) -? I help businesses get their web sites to page one of the search engines.
BeachBody Coach – Hangout Video
Selling The Best Business Opportunity Leads
Internet Marketing affiliate products – maybe Amazon, continuing to sell my Hebrew language tutorial program. (Back in 2002-2003, I actually sold over one million dollars of foreign language tapes and CDs on the internet.) So I know it can be done, and I need to find my new niches.

I’m modeling my businesses after mentors in each business, one of them has 10 different streams of income. It only makes sense to me to have multiple, because in effect, I’m building my own brand.
