S.A.V.E.R.S. steps explained – My First Miracle Morning Day

I began the “Miracle Morning” program today (see prior Miracle Morning post), September 21st, 2015. Here’s the video I made:

https://www.youtube.com/watch”v=9_T1w6IVzTc

I weighed in at 253 pounds. I got up at 5:15, and did the following SAVERS, but not in this order.

  1. S = Silence (Prayer/Meditation) – I “daven”, pray Jewish morning prayer service in Hebrew (at home) ” today from 6:45-7:05.
  2. A = Affirmation – I read Tony Robbins “I am the voice” and David Wood”s car affirmation. I”ll blog on this soon.
  3. V = Visualization – Failed ” was prepared yet for this. I do have a small dream-board of pictures I need to pull out and revise.
  4. E = Exercise – I did Beach Body”s T25 with Shawn-T. I couldn”t keep up with the young people in the video, so I went at my own pace and still got a sweat going on. It felt great, and did give me energy throughout the day, along with a feeling of self-accomplishment. And it wasn”t near as draining as my one hour hot Yoga routines that I do on Sunday in 98 degree heat.
  5. R = Reading – I read Chapter 8 of “Think and Grow Rich”, about the founding fathers of the USA and their ability to make decisions. (See quotes below).
  6. S = Scribing (Journalling/Blogging) – I”m using Google Docs and entered a few thoughts and quotes from the reading.

Sept 21st, 2015- Time Table

My old schedule was to get up at 6:15 to 6:30, shower, pray, eat, check email.

5:15-5:20 Alarm, out of bed, bathroom
5:20-5:55 T25 ” Cardio workout
5:55-6:00 Took selfie photo to document the journey ” will be shown on the web, after I see progress.
6:00-6:25 Read Chapter 8 of “Think and Grow Rich” ” probably spent too much time on this one step
6:25-6:50 Shower and Dress ” Drank 1/2 of a Shake/Drink prepared the night before
6:50-7:12 Jewish Prayer (Davening)
7:12-7:26 Journaling into Google Docs
7:26-7:30 Affirmations

My smart phone goes off at 7:33 each morning. It is then I put on my dress shirt, make my drinks to take to work, refill and start the water distiller. Fortunately, I work about 12-15 minutes from home, so I can leave at 7:45 and be at work at 8:00. This was also by planning; required a long two year process to sell my house in the suburbs, and move to Irving where there are more high-end I.T. (Information Technology) job. I”m a BizTalk B2B consultant (in English, that means I work with transferring data between multiple companies, vendors, trading partners, etc”).

Highlights from reading: Those who accumulated fortunes “had the habit of reaching decisions promptly, and of changing these decisions slowly, if, and when they were changed.”
Opinions are the cheapest commodities on earth. Take no one into your confidence except your “Master Mind” group. Hill talks about the founding fathers of America.

It will not be difficult to detect, in the story of The Declaration of Independence, at least six of these principles, desire, decision, faith, persistence, the master mind, and organized planning.

Throughout this philosophy will be found the suggestion that thought, backed by strong DESIRE, has a tendency to transmute itself into its physical equivalent.

Example of indecision: youth out of high school, takes the first job to be found. He lacks a definite major purpose.
Financial independence, riches, desirable business an dprofessional positions are not within the reach of the preson who neglects or refuses to EXPECT, PLAN, and DEMAND these things.

My Evening Publicity and Marketing Action

Since this the first two days of the process, I wanted to get some of my own “processes” in place, and start with a video. ad to get oil change after work, so that delayed my evening schedule. Times below are approximate, I wasn”t writing them down as I went. Hopefully, it”s obvious, I won”t be doing all these steps every day. Just trying to kickstart everything properly.

6:30-6:45pm Do a live Periscope Video ” had 17 live viewers, 8 comments, 60 hearts
6:45-7:00pm Tried to save video from Katch.me ” it saved, but in mpg2 format.
I use a Firefox Plugin/Add-on called “Video DownloadHelper“.
I should have tried that one,
but had a feeling it wouldn”t work with FB and YouTube.
5:55-6:30pm Used Camtasia Software to capture video, added website “captions” to it,
then produced mp4. The beauty of Periscope is that it”s live an un-edited,
but I wanted a FB/YouTube video, so I spent the time on this first one.
6:40-6:50pm Published on Facebook
6:50-7:00 Published on YouTube (which sends to GooglePlus and Twitter using built-in connections)
7:00:8:30 Create this blog, wrap up everything with a pretty bow.

Example ScreenShot from Katch.me

Katch.Me is a free service that will save all your Periscope videos, if you remember to click the “Tweet” button before you begin recording. I created a domain and forward it to http://Katch.Me/NealWalters (http://NealWalters.TV). In the future, I can tell people to go to NealWalters.TV to view past “shows”. Or, I can do like Chris Record and send NealWalters.TV to an opt-in page, that then gives people access to the saved videos.

If you haven’t used it yet, Periscope is an interactive platform. People type in chat comments while you are making your video, so you can interact with your audience. They give you “hearts” instead of “likes”. I think each person is limited to 500 hearts each time they connect to your live stream. The camera of Periscope always starts facing away from you, so it shows your audience your environment, before you click a button to switch to the forward facing camera.
